Anonymous Noise (覆面系ノイズ, Fukumenkei Noizu) is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Ryoko Fukuyama. The series is published by Hakusensha in Japan and by Viz Media in the United States. The manga has been recently adapted into an anime television series that aired from April to June 2017 and a live-action film. Nino Arisugawa is a young girl who loves singing and is gifted with an extremely resonating voice. As a child, she experiences two heart-wrenching partings: one with her first love and neighbour Momo Sakaki, and another with Kanade "Yuzu" Yuzuriha, a young composer who helped her reignite her hope that her voice will one day reach Momo. Each of the two boys made a promise with Nino to find her one day through her unique singing voice, a promise that she clings on to for six years as she enters her first year of high school.
